Comhairle nan Eilean Siar has this week joined the national Geared for Giving Campaign and re-launched its Workplace Giving scheme to its 3,000 staff across the islands of the Outer Hebrides.

Conwy Council has recently signed up for the campaign by making all staff aware of the benefits of giving to charity via the workplace.

We are delighted that the Geared for Giving campaign counter has now surpassed the 850,000 employee mark. We are heading ever closer tot eh campaign target of 1 million!
This means that an additional 850,000 UK employees now have access tot he most effective way to give to charity, since the campaign launched last year.
