General Healthcare Group Gears up for Giving

General Healthcare Group is joining the Geared for Giving campaign and launches its Workplace Giving scheme this week.

The company, which is the nation’s leading provider of independent healthcare services responded to the campaign letter from Anne Snelgrove and is rolling the scheme out to all 10,000 employees.

General Healthcare Group HR Director, Catherine Ward is delighted they’ve joined the scheme.

“As a company, General Healthcare Group looks to have a positive influence on society, not only in the field of healthcare but as a responsible business. We believe that people who choose to work in the field of medicine change lives for the better every day, and our employees do a great deal to support a range of charities and community programmes in the UK and abroad.

We are delighted to be supporters of the Geared for Giving campaign because it allows our employees to support the causes closest to their hearts in such a simple, efficient way”.

General Healthcare Group is re-launching the scheme throughout the company. This means everyone gets the opportunity to find out about the scheme and ask questions individually. Anne Snelgrove MP is very pleased that General Healthcare Group has responded so positively to her letter. “We are delighted that General Healthcare Group has joined the campaign, it shows that they are committed to their CSR agenda and allowing employees the opportunity to give to their favourite charity, tax effectively, through Workplace Giving”.
