More Local Authorities get Geared for Giving
We are delighted that the number of Local Authorities that are joining the Campaign is growing weekly.
Anne Snelgrove MP wrote to the Chief Executives of the 463 Local Authorities across the UK earlier in the year and the responses are still flooding back.
Local Authorities employ over 2 million employees between them, so if only 10% of these employees gave through the scheme millions more could be raised for charities across the UK.
The Local Authorities recently joining the scheme include Blackpool Council, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, East Ayrshire Council and Bridgend County Borough Council.
