Beaverbrooks the Jewellers

We launched Workplace Giving at Beaverbrooks in June 2008 and were delighted that over 25% of our people joined. We care about our people and our people care about others – charities really need our help now, more than ever. By us match funding their donations, they raised an amazing £37,000 in the first year! Setting up the scheme was so easy and has helped the team at Beaverbrooks make a BIG difference – we strongly encourage all employers to be part of it.

Betfair

Betfair’s CSR objectives centre around employee engagement. Workplace Giving supports this as it allows employees to fund their own causes in the most efficient way, whilst also fulfilling the company’s aim to support a range of charities and community programmes. All donations made to our official charity partner Sparks are matched £ for £ under this scheme, contributing significantly to the £150,000 fundraising target.

We have been enabling our staff to give tax-free through their salaries for 21 years now, and it is something that Boots is firmly committed to. We wanted to enhance our Employee Benefits package in 2009 so opted to introduce Workplace Giving as an option, and felt it would sit nicely inside our Flexible Benefits package. 7% of our staff joined the scheme during the launch raising several thousand pounds for good causes.
